چکیده
The species of Eucharitidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) of Egypt are reviewed. Three species of Eucharis Westwood are reported, Eucharis (Eucharisca) bytinskisalzi Bouček, E. (Psilogastrellus) cuprea (Blanchard) and E. (Psilogastrellus) punctata F6rster. Primary type material of E. bytinskisalzi and E. cuprea is illustrated through macrophotography and a key to separate the three species is provided. Eucharis bytinskisalzi is listed as a new record for the Egyptian fauna.

First description of the karyotype of a eucharitid wasp (Hymenoptera, Chalcidoidea, Eucharitidae)
The haploid karyotype of Kapala sp. (Eucharitidae), a parasite of the Neotropical ant Dinoponera lucida Emery, 1901 (Hymenoptera, Formicidae), is reported for the first time. It consists of four metacentric chromosomes. Chromosomes in the family Eucharitidae were unknown so far; therefore, our results confirm that multiple parallel chromosomal fusions have taken place in several lineages within...

The family Eucharitidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) is recorded for the first time for the fauna of Saudi Arabia based on Hydrorhoacaffra (Westwood) and Eucharis (Psilogastrellus) affinis Bouček. The record of Hydrorhoacaffra suggests that Al-Baha and Asir provinces should be considered as part of the Afrotropical rather than the Palaearctic region. The previously unknown male of Eucharisaffini...

متن کاملA Molecular Phylogeny of the Chalcidoidea (Hymenoptera)
Chalcidoidea (Hymenoptera) are extremely diverse with more than 23,000 species described and over 500,000 species estimated to exist. This is the first comprehensive phylogenetic analysis of the superfamily based on a molecular analysis of 18S and 28S ribosomal gene regions for 19 families, 72 subfamilies, 343 genera and 649 species. The 56 outgroups are comprised of Ceraphronoidea and most pro...
